The TIC Salut Social Foundation joins the ‘First experience in public administrations’ programme

The Catalan Employment Service (SOC) is promoting the First professional experience in public administrations, hiring unemployed young people programme (SOC – FIRST EXPERIENCE), referred to below as the Programme, financed with European funds.

The aim of the Programme is to offer young people, who have completed their studies and are unemployed, the opportunity to have their first professional experience in the various departments of the Catalan Government and its public bodies. The aim is to provide young talent with their first experiences in employment and social and professional skills and abilities through internship contracts.

The Programme will cover positions in tasks related to the ecological transition and the green economy, the digitalization of services, social cohesion —linked to dependency care and intervention in vulnerable groups, the rehabilitation of environments and housing— as well as local and/or rural development. This programme also provides operational support for the strategic objective of improving the employability of young people within the framework of Investment 1, “Youth Employment”, included in Component 23 “New public policies for a dynamic, resilient and inclusive labour market”, part of policy lever VIII “New economy of care and employment policies” in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
