This week a work session was held in Brussels, promoted by DG Reform, and NTT Data with the collaboration of the TIC Salut Social Foundation and the Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs. This workshop made it possible to share good practices and lessons learned in the field of improving digital skills for health professionals.
The topics discussed included challenges and improvement methodologies, balancing professional practice and continuing education, different governance models for digital skills in health, and projects related to these work areas funded by DG Reform.
Those responsible for projects related to improving the digital skills of health professionals from countries such as Italy, Romania, France, the Netherlands and the Basque Country took part.
Representing the Catalan Health System were Alícia Àvila, Subdirector General of Organisation and Professional Development (Department of Health); Bea Cruañas from the Technical Office of the General Secretariat (Department of Health); Anna González, head of the Professionals Division of SISCAT (Catalan Health Service); and Elisenda Reixach, head of Digital Skills in Health and Medical Imaging at the TIC Salut Social Foundation.
