New seminars on technological innovation in social and health care services of the ICT Social Health Chair in Manresa

After the success of the first informative sessions on comprehensive care and data protection you can now register for the new seminars on technological innovation in social and health services of the ICT Social Health Chair. Discover how technology is transforming health and social services through seminars taught by industry experts.  

The seminars are co-organised by the ICT Social Health Chair of the TIC Salut Social Foundation and the Althaia Foundation. The objective is twofold. Transfer the knowledge generated by the use of applied technology in the improvement of social and health services, and transfer to professionals new perspectives and tools to improve care for people. 

Information on technological innovation seminars 

The seminars will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu of Manresa of the Althaia Foundation and registration is free. The three new seminars will take place on the following dates and times: 

• 9 May at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:  

The experience of the person facing the challenges of Comprehensive Health and Social Care. By Cristina Bustillo, responsible for Digital Transformation at the TIC Salut Social Foundation. 

• 23 May at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: 

Artificial intelligence and its uses in the healthcare field, by Guillem Hernández.

• 13 June at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: 

Information Systems as levers for the transformation of Comprehensive Social and Health Care, by Fernando Leeson, director of Digital Transformation in Social Affairs at the TIC Salut Social Foundation.

Participation in the seminars is free with prior registration. These events are designed for professionals in the fields of health and social services interested in expanding their knowledge and integrating innovative technologies in their daily practice.
