TIC Salut Social Foundation, from the Catalan Healthcare Ministry of the Generalitat of Catalonia, will organise a skilled formation to help developing projects’ proposals to take part in the Horizon 2020 European public funding programme. The course will take place from the 17th to the 18th of September and will treat advanced training, focused to the success of the research projects’ proposals.
The Horizon 2020 framework offere opportunities of international funding to any kind of organisations involved in research activities, technological development and innovation. For the period 2014-2020 counts with a 77.000M euros budget, centred in three topics: excellent science, industrial leadership and social challenges. The programme presents quite low success taxes in comparison with the previous programs of the EU.
To surpass this challenge, the TIC Salut Social Foundation will offer a 2-day practical course focused to write a proposal successfully. The course allow to know basic information of Horizon 2020, which funding opportunity is the most attractive for each case, and will provide practical advises to prepare an excellent proposal with real projects’ examples, lessons learnt by the experts and practical exercises.
The course is addressed both to professionals from the public and private sector who have taken part in projects from the 7th Framework. Willing to take part in the Horizon 2020 for the first time or that already have taken part and wish to improve his skills of proposals’ writing to increase his possibilities to develop a winning proposal.

That’s why the TIC Salut Social Foundation decided to offer this expertise and knowledge workshop to the sector, with practical cases and key information to draft proposals with the maximum possibilities of funding success”, ensures Francesc Garcia-Cuyàs, director at TIC Salut Social Foundation.
The first edition of the course was an opportunity to assimilate the main information on Horizon 2020, as well as practical advices on proposals’ scripture based on real projects’ examples, our expert’s lessons learnt and practical exercises.
