The TIC Salut Social Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Families and with the expertise of various professionals from organizations in the field of health and social care such as the Barcelona Provincial Council, Barcelona City Council, the Ministry of Health and other departments and entities, is launching the third phase of the Intersocial project.
The project kick off took place on the 22 September with a welcome from the Director General of Social Services of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Families, Meritxell Benedí. Due to the current situation, this meeting was held online, bringing together more than thirty professionals from the social and health care world.
In this third phase of the project, the aim is to broaden the definition of a common controlled vocabulary to standardize problems, factors and observations in the field of social care with new cases of use initially covering children, young people and dependents.
The project will involve the participation and collaboration of the groups of healthcare experts in the region. The standard used will be the same as in the first and second phases, Snomed CT.
The aim of these common controlled vocabularies is to improve the integration of data from Catalan social services that will facilitate the work carried out by social care professionals.
Public presentation on 3 November
The project’s dictionary consultation tool and web service will be presented publicly on 3 November, at 3 pm, in a remote session with the main protagonists and managers of the project. Registration is now open.
