Mataró to host the 23rd Catalan National Congress on Accidents and Emergencies

The 23^rd edition of the Catalan National Congress of Accidents and Emergencies Medicine will be held in April 2016 in Mataró. The Congress, which is organised by Mataró Hospital, Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital and the TecnoCampus of Mataró, will be held under the motto of “Point of innovation and knowledge”, which suggests the reason for being of the Congress, which is to provide scientific and technical novelties and to share knowledge all doctors, nurses, auxiliaries and technicians, in the different areas related to the world of emergencies, all with the support of our society, the SOCMUE.

The headquarters of the Congress will be the TecnoCampus in Mataró, an environment which connects with the motto of the meeting and which has all of the facilities that a congress deserves to be attractive.  We might say it is a perfect marriage.  The subjects to be covered have been chosen by the Scientific Committee with the intention of their being of interest to everyone and a very useful for our daily work, but for all of this to work out as we want, your attendance is essential.

Table 8: Digital Health (Friday 15, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.). 

Fundació TicSalut leads Table 8 referring to Digital Health (Friday 15, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the aim of disseminating the experiences of companies and/or institutions in the area of ICT, health and well-being and to table concepts that will become reality in the coming four or five years considering that Digital Health will transform personal healthcare on the basis of ICT.

The roundtable will last an hour and a half, and will cover 6-10 experiences in ICT and Health, each lasting 5 minutes, and a final 30 minute talk focused on Digital Health.
