Digital accessibility at the m4Social Day

Work is being done from m4Social to make ICT more accessible to guarantee equal access and opportunities to all people, regardless of their conditions.

The aim of this year’s m4Social Day is to define digital accessibility, to identify its current state and, thanks to the participation of different important players from various areas, to share and discuss different views and good experiences around digital accessibility.

During the meeting, ICT experts, representatives of social entities and of the public administration will discuss the criteria of digital accessibility and their importance in designing and developing solutions. The state of the services offered by the administration and to which a citizen can access beyond their capacities will also be assessed.

Attendees will have a practical catalogue and case studies to go further into the designing of mobile applications, web pages, apps and digital contents that are accessible to everyone.

The meeting will also be a good opportunity for m4Social to present its future strategy and the work it has done throughout the life of this project which started in 2015.

m4Social connects social action and the technological world to accelerate the digital transformation of care for people and to contribute to the empowerment of the citizens and social entities.

The Fundació TIC Salut Social collaborates by preparing and promoting the meeting, helping in the dissemination of the accessibility criteria guidelines.
