The 2nd CareCityLab Scientific Conference will show the research and innovation results of all partners

This year, as part of Science Week, the second edition of the “CareCityLab Scientific Conference” will be held. An event dedicated to research and innovation in the fields of health, social welfare and citizen participation. This event is organised by CareCityLab, of which the TIC Salut Social Foundation is part of the scientific committee.

This scientific conference aims to establish itself as a meeting place for science for the general public, collaborative research and innovation, and aims to highlight the positive impact of research and collaboration between organisations and institutions to improve the quality of life of Maresme citizens.

The events are structured over two consecutive days. The first of the sessions will take place at Mataró Hospital as part of the celebration of its 25 years, on 7 November. The second will be on 8 November and will consist of a guided visit to the Espai Mataró Cuida – CareCityLab. During the first day, the various research groups, bodies and institutions associated with CareCityLab will present the results obtained in collaborative projects that have focused on strategic areas for the scientific, health and social community of the region. Participants will be able to learn about the most recent advances and best practices in care, health advice, and action strategies for community well-being.

Open Doors

The second day, on 8 November, will be held as an open house and will allow attendees to get to know CareCityLab and all the services on offer. The facility located on Paseo de la Marina will be open to visitors from 9 am to 1 pm. A shuttle bus service has been provided to and from Plaça de les Tereses.

With this meeting, the CareCityLab aims to consolidate itself as a leader and role model in action-oriented research and encourage the participation of the general public in generating applied knowledge. This edition is a unique opportunity for the exchange of knowledge, the visibility of projects with local impact and the promotion of new initiatives that contribute to the social and health development of the region.
