This subject is coordinated by the TIC Salut Social Foundation Chair and urged by the Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine from UVic-UCC.
Said education, taught by members from the TIC Salut Social Foundation, provides students with a knowledge base on the application of ICTs in healthcare environments linked to the Catalan healthcare digital system strategy.
The goal is to identify the application of ICTs in different situations within the healthcare field, use of off-site service channels, and understand artificial intelligence (AI) as a support tool when making decisions in medicine.
These topics are studied using a practical approach in areas such as system interoperability, telemedicine, digital medical imaging, innovation and entrepreneurship, 3D printing, or artificial intelligence, amongst others.
