This branch of medicine scientifically studies the structure and functioning of the body during a disease. PA’s main role is identifying anomalies that may help diagnose diseases and prescribe the most appropriate treatment.
- SIMDCAT: Catalan Healthcare System project to save and share information in a secure way and improve interoperability surroundings of the Comprehensive Catalan Public Use Healthcare System (SISCAT in Catalan).
SIMDCAT is based on Raim cloud, which relocates in the cloud the storage of medical imaging activity from healthcare providers by means of shared PACS for all centres.
