Catalonia is facing a major challenge: transforming its health and social services systems to address the growing needs of an ageing population with increasing cases of chronic conditions, disabilities, and mental health issues. In this context, the Draft Law for the Agency for Integrated Social and Health Care, presented to the Parliament of Catalonia in November 2024, opens the door to a new model of care.

The event “Draft Law of the Agency for Integrated Social and Health Care of Catalonia: Impact and Implications”, organized by the Commission of Economists for a Social Economy and the Health Economics Commission of the College of Economists of Catalonia, aims to provide a space for analysis on the impact and implications of this legislative proposal.
