Júlia Gibaja, awarded for her Final Degree Project in Biomedical Engineering

Our colleague Júlia Gibaja Musachs, technician of innovation projects in health and social fields at the TIC Salut Social Foundation, has been recognised as part of the Manel Xifra Boada Awards, given by the Board of Trustees of the Escola Politècnica Superior of the University of Girona.

The award was given for her Final Degree Project in Biomedical Engineering, entitled “Development of a telemedicine system for self-registration of blood pressure”, a proposal that contributes to improving self-management of health and accessibility to healthcare through technology.

20th edition of the 2025 Manel Xifra and Boada Awards at the CaixaBank auditorium in Girona.

The awards ceremony took place on 15 May and recognised several students for the excellence of their final projects. In addition, Júlia was chosen to give a brief interview during the event, which can be seen between minutes 58 and 59 of the official video of the event:
