The European COMFORTAGE project is calling for people to join its international dialogue forum, made up of partners, pilots, and expert stakeholders with a shared interest in dementia, cognitive decline, and digital health technologies.
Participants in the COMFORTAGE Community Forum (CCF) benefit from ongoing opportunities for learning, knowledge exchange, and collaboration aimed at improving the quality of life of older people across Europe. Specifically, forum members can contribute ideas to ongoing projects, take part in online seminars and activities related to COMFORTAGE, and connect with experts, organisations, and citizens committed to advancing healthy and active ageing.
The next CCF activity will be the online seminar “Exploring training and development opportunities for healthcare providers and caregivers”, which will take place on 27 November from 11:00 to 12:00. The webinar will explore training and development opportunities enabling healthcare professionals and caregivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
COMFORTAGE is a project funded by the Horizon Europe programme and made up of 39 organisations from research centres, universities, health and social care entities, associations, non-profit foundations, and technology and legal companies in 12 European countries. For the past two years, they have been working to drive meaningful change in dementia and frailty care in Europe by developing holistic and integrated health models tailored to the individual needs of people with age-related physical and mental conditions.
The TIC Salut i Social Foundation is involved by contributing its expertise in explainability models (XAI) and trustworthy artificial intelligence. It also participates in tasks related to assessing the impact of health technology, and works in coordination with the Agència d’Atenció Integrada Social i Sanitària to help build an integrated care ecosystem and support the scalability of the solution.
