Catalonia launches market consultation for AI solution to support breast cancer screening

The Health AI Programme of the Department of Health of the Government of Catalonia has launched a preliminary market consultation to tender a solution based on artificial intelligence to support the early breast cancer detection programme. The terms have already been published on the Public Procurement Platform.

The consultation is promoted by the Oncology Master Plan of Catalonia and coordinated through the Health AI Programme, in which the Department of Health, CatSalut, the TIC Salut i Social Foundation, the Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS), and the Diagnostic Imaging Institute (IDI) take part. Representatives from radiology units of hospitals across Catalonia and other health sector stakeholders will also collaborate in this initiative.

Entities interested in participating have until 3 March to submit the documentation indicated in the published terms on the AQuAS profile on the Public Procurement Services Platform.
