The UOC is organising a day dedicated to reflecting on the future of bioengineering applied to the healthcare system and its role in transforming healthcare. The event will also serve to present the new Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, offered by the University’s Schools of Health Sciences and of Informatics, Multimedia and Telecommunications.
During the event, prominent professionals from the sector will share real-world experiences and case studies demonstrating the current impact of bioengineering on the healthcare system, covering key areas related to technological development and healthcare innovation.
Joan Guanyabens, Director of the TIC Salut i Social Foundation, will also be taking part, offering his perspective on the challenges and opportunities of integrating technology into the healthcare system and the role of new professional profiles.
