New call for grants for innovative projects related to digital health, advanced therapies and community health

Barcelona City Council, in partnership with the La Caixa Foundation, has launched a new biannual line of subsidies to promote research and innovation projects in strategic areas such as life sciences and health and sustainability. This call provides a major opportunity for centres and institutions seeking to transform the health system through research and technology.

Three major areas are prioritised in the field of life sciences and health:

• Digital health: the development and implementation of digital technologies to improve prevention, diagnoses and treatments.
• Advanced therapies: RDI projects focused on new biomedical treatments.
• Community health: initiatives geared towards promoting health and well-being within the community.

Public and private non-profit healthcare centres and institutions linked to or in agreements with the National Health System that conduct research, development and innovation activities are eligible for this call.

The informative session will be held at 12:30 pm on 29 April and the deadline for submitting applications is 19 May.
