The Social Rights Department has entrusted TIC Salut Social Foundation the technical control of technological projects subsidised to third parties with money from Next Generation originating from the Department of Social Rights. There are over 80 projects that will contribute to create a truly Catalan social services system with all the actors, both public and private. Monitoring must prevent duplicities and generate synergies and scale economies between different projects.
Amongst the actions propelled by the Department of Social Rights thanks to this fund, €13,300,000 have been given to initiatives that use technology to provide solutions to dependant people, have disabilities, or socially problematic due to mental illness.
Said projects can have different objectives, such as helping with personal autonomy, treatments, supporting a person in their home environment, comprehensive health and social care, as well as the partaking and involvement from the volunteering network.
The Department valued TIC Salut Social Foundation’s expertise when considering the above mentioned, which offered advice and technical support during the technological evaluation of projects.
