Active ageing, as defined by the World Health Organization, is the process in which opportunities for health, participation, safety and learning are optimized throughout life, to improve people’s quality of life as they get older.<\/p>\n
To promote active and healthy aging, health systems must have a perspective of the complete life cycle and direct their services towards health promotion, disease prevention and equitable access, both to primary care and to long-term care quality.<\/p>\n
En Buena Edad – Is an app aimed to the training of health professionals and the generation of recommendations to promote healthy aging for autonomous, fragile and dependent people.<\/p>\n
Through this mobile application, the group of Primary Care health professionals can exercise in the “Health Exam for People Over 65”, a program included in the comprehensive health plans of the Ministry of Health and Families. That is why they have activities and challenges in a gamified format that will allow you to develop skills in a simple and enjoyable way.<\/p>\n
The application also allows Primary Care health personnel to recommend activities to promote active aging for their elderly patients. For this, the mobile application “En Buena Edad – Profesionales” has a communication system with the mobile application “En Buena Edad – Mayores”.<\/p>\n
In this application you will find:<\/p>\n
– Resources for training skills in promoting active and healthy ageing.<\/p>\n
– Recommendation resources and activities system for the elderly, which can be accessed from the version of the mobile application itself.<\/p>\n
En Buena Edad- Profesionales is part of the project ‘Promotion of active aging through digital solutions’, an initiative of the Ministry of Health and Families of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda.<\/p>\n
