For the tenth consecutive year, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), the European Commission and the member states will commemorate this month. The goal is to create awareness and <strong>promote cybersecurity among citizens and organisations by providing up-to-date information and publicising good practices in the digital environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Phishing and ransomware, this year\u2019s topics<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year, European Cybersecurity Month focuses on a specific topic. In 2022, the chosen topics were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Phishing:<\/strong> identity fraud performed through an e-mail or text message that seeks to obtain information about credit cards, banking passwords and the like.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ransomware: <\/strong>a type of malicious computer program that restricts access to certain parts or files in the infected system, and demands a ransom in exchange for removing the restriction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cybersecurity at the TIC Salut Social Foundation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In Catalonia we have the <a href=\"https:\/\/ciberseguretat.gencat.cat\/ca\/inici\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia<\/a>, which is the body that works to ensure and increase networks\u2019 and information systems\u2019 security in the region, as well as citizens\u2019 digital confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the foundation we work in different areas such as <strong>interoperability and data protection<\/strong>in which we can provide advice on aspects related to cybersecurity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":12,"featured_media":14291,"menu_order":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"etiqueta":[],"tipus":[],"topic":[122],"class_list":["post-14602","noticia","type-noticia","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","topic-hot-news"],"acf":{"finalitzat":false,"tipus_plantilla":"objectius","template_objectius":{"cont_principal":"","imatge":false,"cont_seguent":{"titol":"","contingut":""},"seccio_llistat":{"titol":"","llistat":false},"objectius":{"titol":"","objectius":false},"documents":false},"autor":"","imatge":14291,"textos_destacats":[{"texte":"In Catalonia we have the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, which is the body that works to ensure and increase networks\u2019 and information systems\u2019 security in the region, as well as citizens\u2019 digital confidence."}],"documents":false},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.1.1 -
