Technical Assistance and Information Exchange. A tool of the European Commission for the institutional construction and knowledge transfer of the public sectors of the Member States of the European Union.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Strategic view and technological deployment in Catalonia<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>During a three-day seminar, Catalonia presented the 360<sup>o<\/sup> vision of the management of the Catalan health and social systems. From challenges, policies and strategic planning to functional and technological deployment. Catalonia presented the strategies in integrated care, digital health and protection of health data and how the digital transformation offers results in optimising services linked to technology. Representatives of the Catalan Health Service such as Jordi Piera; from the Catalan Institute of Health, Oscar Solans; from the Department of Health Merc\u00e8 Armelles, Joan Carles Contel, N\u00faria Nadal and Anna Forcada; as well as staff from the Department of Social Rights and Inclusion, such as Rosa Fum\u00e0s, led these sessions.<\/p>\n<p>The TIC Salut Social Foundation coordinated the programme and visit of the Swedish delegation and presented key technological lines of work for the Catalan system such as the Health\/AI Programme, with Susanna Auss\u00f3; the policies on digital assets for citizens and the deployment of mHealth in the health system, with Carme Pratdep\u00e0dua. The strategy on centralised data protection in the Office of the Health Data Protection Officer was also presented by Rafael Guerrero.<\/p>\n<p>The delegation of the Swedish public administration, made up of a total of twelve representatives, encompassed the senior managers who specialise in digitalisation, data analysis, integration and architecture of information systems, finance and technology. Among their conclusions, the participation in a very enriching exchange experience stands out positively. This new perspective &#8220;is useful for Sweden to align itself with Catalonia in aspects such as the Health\/AI Programme and the digitalisation process of social rights and integrated care&#8221;. A visit that establishes the basis for future collaborations between the two countries.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Functions of the TAIEX<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>With the aim of generating networking and supporting reform processes around the world, TAIEX is an instrument implemented since 2020 through the General Directorate of International Partnerships (INTPA).
