During the last quarter of 2025, Althaia<\/strong> will offer two new training sessions included in the TIC Salut Social Chair<\/strong> innovation seminar program. Aimed at providing a space for training and debate to drive digital transformation and integrated care among professionals in the health and social sectors, this seminar series is held monthly and structured into two parts: a first part of theoretical knowledge and a second, practical part. Each part lasts an hour and a half and two hours respectively. This way, participating professionals gain a 360-degree perspective that can be directly applied in their workplace.<\/p>\n

The seminars are promoted by the Althaia Foundation<\/strong> and take place at the Sant Joan de D\u00e9u Hospital in Manresa<\/strong>, in the social and healthcare innovation area, floor -4. They are jointly organized by the TIC Salut Social Foundation<\/strong> and the University of Vic \u2013 Central University of Catalonia<\/strong>. The TIC Salut Social Chair<\/strong> is the tool for channeling knowledge transfer generated through the use of technology applied to the improvement of social and healthcare services, and for sharing the results with professionals.<\/p>\n

Design Thinking: Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Digital Health<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

On October 30, starting at 9:00 a.m., led by Daniel Moreno<\/strong>, Head of Innovation at Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital. The session will showcase how entrepreneurship is promoted in hospitals through innovation-driven ideas.<\/p>\n

Care professionals and\u00a0 technology<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

On November 18, starting at 9:30 a.m., we will reflect with Marc Fortes<\/strong>, nurse and Director of the Health School at Sant Joan de D\u00e9u Hospital in Barcelona, on the role of technology from the perspective of care professionals. An approach to improving care through the use of tools that promote automation.<\/p>\n
