Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes is both a database and a universal standard for identifying medical laboratory observations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Over three days, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/#_blank\"><em>Fundaci\u00f3 Tic Salut Social\u2019s<\/em><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/area\/oficina-interoperabilitat\/#_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Oficina d\u2019Est\u00e0ndards i Interoperabilitat<\/em><\/a> brought together experts from around the world to attend meetings of the LOINC laboratory and clinical committees. For the first time these took place outside of the United States and the <em>Fundaci\u00f3 Tic Salut Social <\/em>was chosen as a partner to host the event. The event was held at the Foundation\u2019s current headquarters, at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecnocampus.cat\/ca\/equipaments-congressos-reunions#_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Centre de Congressos Tecnocampus<\/a>, in Matar\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20871 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1620\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the congress, in addition to the internal committee sessions, workshops were held to show how to implement LOINC in healthcare IT systems.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Every workshop was led by a team of experts who were eager to clear up any doubts the attendees had, thus creating an atmosphere of dialogue and the free exchange of knowledge among the attendees.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To see more information relating to the congress please follow the links below.
