{"id":6536,"date":"2018-05-30T18:13:21","date_gmt":"2018-05-30T16:13:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/?post_type=noticia&#038;p=6536"},"modified":"2021-07-20T13:00:59","modified_gmt":"2021-07-20T11:00:59","slug":"tic-salut-social-foundation-organizes-a-workshop-on-interoperability-in-the-himss-4","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/en\/noticia\/tic-salut-social-foundation-organizes-a-workshop-on-interoperability-in-the-himss-4\/","title":{"rendered":"TIC Salut Social Foundation organizes a workshop on interoperability in the HIMSS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The week of the 27<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 29<sup>th<\/sup> May, the TIC Salut Social Foundation participated in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.himsseuropeconference.eu\/sitges\/2018\/himss-europe\">HIMSS Europe 2018<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.himsseuropeconference.eu\/sitges\/2018\/health-20\">Health 2.0<\/a>, two international congresses which were both held in Sitges (Barcelona). <strong>Ariadna Rius<\/strong>, the Head of the Foundation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/es\/area\/oficina-interoperabilidad\/\"><strong>Office of Standards and Interoperability<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong>chaired a session on interoperability within the HIMSS, entitled: &#8220;Interoperability &#8211; What&#8217;s taking so long?&#8221;. The workshop was aimed at discussing the still-existing difficulties to achieving full interoperability, both at the regional and cross-border level.<\/p>\n<p>The session was divided into two parts: a debate and smaller workshops on various topics. The following participated in the first part: <strong>Nicky Hekster <\/strong>(IBM Watson), <strong>G\u00fcrhan Zincirza\u011flu<\/strong> (CIO, Tyre, Turkey), <strong>Michiel Sprenger<\/strong> (Nictiz, The Netherlands), <strong>Charles Parisot<\/strong> (IHE Europe), <strong>Javier Quiles<\/strong> (SERGAS), <strong>David Hancock<\/strong> (InterSystem) and <strong>Petra Wilson<\/strong> (Health Connect Partners \/ FTI Consulting).
