{"id":31924,"date":"2025-02-25T11:09:28","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T09:09:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/que-fem\/atencio-digital-personalitzada\/unicas\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T14:34:19","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T12:34:19","slug":"unicas","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/en\/que-fem\/atencio-digital-personalitzada\/unicas\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00daNICAS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The \u00daNICAS project was born to <strong>create an ecosystem of alliances to help paediatric patients with complex minority diseases during their entire care process<\/strong> (from beginning to end).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the umbrella term <em>Personalised Digital Care Plan <\/em>funded by the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan as well as the <em>Next Generation<\/em> European funds, <strong>Catalonia leads the \u00daNICAS project technology development and implementation.<\/strong>&nbsp;TIC Salut Social Foundation is in charge of this, evaluate the autonomous communities\u2019 technology maturity, define the project\u2019s basic tool technology requirements, make sure they are developed, and unfold a network of nodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sant Joan de D\u00e9u Hospital in Barcelona and the Autonomous Community of Madrid are the leaders. As support, 5 functional groups comprised of over 150 experts from all autonomous communities were created to tackle the project\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00daNICAS wishes to offer the national health system personalised online care that provides a comprehensive service within the entire country. For this reason, the urge to create a technology platform composed of a network of nodes that makes use of the same tools, processes, and protocols in each autonomous community and allows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To care for paediatric patients with minority diseases at any point in the UNICAS network as is they were in the reference site for their pathology, no matter where they live (data travels, not the child).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide all \u00daNICAS network nodes with tools, processes and protocols to establish a personalised online care model.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To complete current CSUR (Reference Centres, Services, and Units in Catalan) network to improve patients\u2019 visibility, as well as that of non-CSUR professionals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide a holistic vision of the patient during the entire process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00daNICAS nodes<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><script src=\"https:\/\/static-bundles.visme.co\/visme-embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\r\n<div class=\"visme_d\" data-title=\"Nodos de la red UNICAS\" data-url=\"w4x4n3ek-nodos-de-la-red-unicas\" data-w=\"1920\" data-full-h=\"false\" data-h=\"1080\" data-domain=\"my\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n<p style=\"width: 142px !important; border-radius: 3px !important; padding: 3px !important; font-size: 12px !important; font-family: Arial, sans-serif !important; color: #314152 !important; white-space: nowrap !important;\">Hecho con <a style=\"font-weight: 600 !important; text-decoration: none !important; font-size: 12px !important; font-family: Arial, sans-serif !important; color: #314152 !important; white-space: nowrap !important;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.visme.co\/?vc=Made-With-Visme&amp;utm_medium=Embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Visme<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UNICAS projects seeks an online personalised care model for the CSUR system and reference networks to provide a comprehensive service for the entire system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is to provide comprehensive care through a network of specialised centres (nodes), at least one per Autonomous Community, in which the patient doesn\u2019t travel yet their clinical information does. In this way, we seek to improve upon quick diagnosis, fairness, and accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00daNICAS wishes to provide all network nodes with tools, processes and protocols to establish a personalised online care model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will initially undertake paediatric patients, focusing on four types of minority diseases: mitochondrial diseases, neuromuscular disorders, epileptic encephalopathies, and syndrome related neurodevelopment disorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two outlooks: \u00daNICAS 360 (healthcare professionals outlook), and \u00daNICAS CHANNEL (patient\/family member\/caregiver outlook).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Unicas_ENG_v2-1-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32378\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Unicas_ENG_v2-1-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Unicas_ENG_v2-1-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Unicas_ENG_v2-1-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Unicas_ENG_v2-1-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/ticsalutsocial.atoom.space\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Unicas_ENG_v2-1.png 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tools at different layers are developed to provide services to both of these visions, such as: data and exchange services, repository, care processes, and advanced analytics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On minority diseases<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Union considers minority diseases those that affect less than 5 in every 10,000 people. It is estimated around 5,000 and 8,000 minority diseases exist worldwide and between 6% and 8% of the world\u2019s population can be affected. Furthermore, many are serious, chronic, disabilities, or potentially deadly.
