Bring your innovative health solution to 4YFN 2027.

For the fourth consecutive year, we are launching the process to offer Catalan health startups the opportunity to take part in the Catalonia Health Innovation Ecosystem Pavilion, the meeting point for Catalan health and social care innovation at the 4YFN congress. The TIC Salut i Social Foundation and Biocat, in collaboration with ACCIÓ and other key stakeholders in Catalonia’s health system, coordinate this space, which will include an area reserved for 16 Catalan startups offering innovative health solutions. This year, the congress will take place from 1 to 4 March 2027 as part of the Mobile World Congress.

Key requirements

Candidate companies must:

• Be startups that have been operating for less than ten years.
• Have a company tax identification number. Applications from self employed professionals will not be accepted.
• Have their registered office in Catalonia or be based in Catalonia.
• Have at least three people working full time on the project, although duly justified exceptions may be considered.
• Demonstrate a strong technological component or disruptive innovation.
• Have a scalable business model with growth potential and a global market focus.
• Companies offering only consultancy services, developing software for third parties, or operating solely through a website with limited activity are excluded.

The submission must include a company presentation in Catalan, Spanish, or English, with a maximum of 10 slides and a file size of 5 MB, that includes:

• The product or service.
• The business model.
• The financing and international growth plan.
• The team.

In the selection process for the Catalonia Health Innovation Ecosystem Pavilion, priority will be given to startups working in:

• New therapeutic strategies based on personalized and precision medicine, such as gene therapy or genomic and in vitro diagnostic services and solutions.
• Technologies for prevention and diagnosis, including predictive analytics, telemedicine, screening, and digital diagnostics.
• Technological solutions for integrated social and health care.

The selected startups will be notified before November 30, 2026, and must formalize their space reservation during the month of December, before the end of the year.
